Certificate of Excellence
Nestled within four acres of mature award-winning gardens and spacious terraces, The Bath Priory sets itself apart as a peaceful haven in a bustling city. The Georgian house of honey-coloured Bath stone enjoys a tranquil location just a short walk through Royal Victoria Park to Bath’s city centre. The award-winning spa has a selection of luxurious treatments, an indoor pool, pool-side sauna, elliptical steam pod and shower. From the moment you enter The Garden Spa by L’OCCITANE, fragrances transport you to Provence; the escape begins with scent. Every gesture, every ingredient, every ritual is drawn from a page of the L’OCCITANE grand herbarium, a resource of hundreds of essential oils and natural ingredients. Steeped in Roman history, the city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and Theatre Royal are noteworthy highlights alongside the city’s architectural merits including the Royal Crescent and The Circus.

We stayed here for one night on 9th August; we had two rooms (family of 4 with two young adults aged 16 and 20). The hotel was lovely - quaint, informal with rooms that were exactly what we had hoped for. We stayed in a Classic Rooms and , although these were the "lowest" in

Hotel is Victorian style, so lots of history. Excellent stay in a Superior Room. Staff were polite and very attentive. Breakfast was very enjoyable, with plenty of choice. Spa facilities very good - very relaxing.

Nice rooms could do with a net curtain at the window for a little more privacy
Peony Superior Room
there was no charge but they were basic - small pool, small steam and sauna; all outfitted quite nicely

We stayed in a top floor junior suite at the front of the hotel, even though it was overlooking the entrance (and road beyond) there was no noise pollution.

Is it dog friendly
Dear jackie186345, We have two dog friendly bedrooms that can be reserved in advance. Dogs on a lead are welcome in our Garden and Terrace however not in our Restaurants or Lounges. We are also close by many beautiful parks in Bath.

Yes it does, at the side of the pool, plus a steam room, but, when we stayed, the steam room was not in use. It would be lovely to use the pool in the Summer, as doors open off to a small patio area. Plus, an outside pool in beautiful gardens, you would never think you're near a major City.
