My Wife and I stayed with two other couples in The Lansdown Grove Hotel for a long week-end - nights of the 25th-27th Sept. It was excellent. We all went with a Coast and Country package (half board) and everything was just about as good as it gets. The rooms were comfortable, the food was excellent (although the portions were...

We booked a standard room for 2 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. We were given a beautiful huge room (205) it was spotlessly clean and well presented. The evening meals and breakfasts were great, and with a good choice. The staff both in the restaurant and the bar were pleasant, courteous and helpful. The public liunges of...

Had 3 nights half board and would definitely stay there again. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly & efficient. Every meal was Google tasty food and the service was excellent. Good location, just a 5 minute bus ride to town centre. Nice clean rooms with crisp white bed linen.

Thank you pat t for your review. It pleases me to read that, you found your recent stay such an enjoyable one. I will be sure to pass your comments on to the staff. The number 31 Park and Ride bus service really is an efficient service which runs every 15 minutes, with a stop outside the hotel. Regards Jane

This hotel is not the dearest in Bath nor the closest but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upgraded to Ambassador room and think the small supplement was worth it. Room was large, traditionally decorated but stylish and comfortable. Stayed on a half board option and choice, service and quality of food was good. Hotel is on an elevated position above...

Perched atop a very steep hill, which might prove problematic for the elderly or disabled, the Lansdown Grove is a 10-15 minute walk from Bath city centre. However, there is a frequent, local bus service for those who do not fancy the climb! The hotel started life as an imposing Victorian residence. It was converted into an hotel in the...
