We stayed here for a few days as a late honeymoon (12 years late!). The room was small but very well appointed. The décor was fantastic, staff friendly and the continental breakfast was fabulous. Having a cocktail bar in the basement was especially good! Would definitely recommend.

I stayed here on a break for my girlfriend's birthday. We were greeted so warmly by the receptionist on check in and everything just got better from there. Comfy room too. The bar and restaurant that are linked to the hotel are also superb and well worth a visit.

We arrived in Bath without having booked a hotel. This place had great Lonely Planet reviews so called to see if we could have 2 rooms. Excellent service by Emily and Malika. We were checked in and off to our rooms very quickly. The ladies were extremely helpful in advising us of things to see and do in Bath, how...

Stopped 2 nights and were most impressed by how close to City centre this place is . Public car park directly opposite .Good wide staircases up to a clean airy room with very smart bathroom and one of the best showers ever ! Bit unusual not to have a wardrobe as such but ample hanging space and drawers so no...

Great location. Was able to park opposite and then walk everywhere during the weekend. Great bar downstairs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Rooms had everything we needed. Hoping to stay again soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay on Monday night. Room had all that was required for a pleasant stay. Bed extremely comfortable and really good shower! Only down side was light in bathroom not very good for putting makeup on ! Continental breakfast was adequate! Some fresh crusty bread or croissants would be nice! However would recommend to all.

My mother and I stayed at the Halcyon for 5 nights in a twin bedded room, which while small, was very comfortable and had a very modern en-suite bathroom with a good shower. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was very tasty. The hotel is conveniently located near...

Great hotel. Very central without being noisy. Stayed for 1 night in the most comfortable bed ever. Room was small but big enough to sleep in... Shower was great after trudging the city all day. Receptionists were charming and helpful (one possibly called Bob was the happiest guy on earth). Breakfast was surprisingly nice with a good spread of options...

Me and my partner booked a standard room for 2 nights, Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd February. Whilst we really liked the hotel, with its decor, staff, bar and location, the room we were allocated was quite pokey and small which i don't think was value for money at £119 per night. Whilst we didn't complain about the size of...

We opted to stay at the Halcyon due to its convenience to the centre of Bath. It more than met our expectations including a cracking cocktail bar in the basement. Highly recommend this Hotel. Lovely breakfast
