Dear Jan, Thank you for your comments, we will do our best to address the problems with the room - I will have the mattress changed if necessary and we have some workmen coming in over the next weeks to address the wear and tear that a busy Inn is subjected to. Sam

Love this place. Only two minutes from the Theatre Royal but feels away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Outstanding food including the best sandwiches going at lunchtime. Vast choice of ales and excellent wine menu. Try it once and you will be a regular.

Awesome pub with very comfy rooms. Lovely staff. Great beer and food. Very reasonably priced. The staff were super helpful as we have a young child. The room was very comfy and the hotel is ideally located too. Highly recommended.

Go here for some of the most delicious sourdough bread out there. Smashing full English, homemade bircher muesli on request and fresh orange. Kate and Leah were really sweet with the children and the landlord is highly entertaining with extraordinarily varied and odd trivia. Delicious ales sampled some time after breakfast.

I highly recommend the Griffin; great location and atmosphere and excellent value for money wine list. The room was extremely comfortable with one of the better hotel beds that I have slept in. Would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I had been recommended to stay at the Griffin Inn from an old colleague of mine. We were attending a family function in the South West and needed somewhere comfortable and convenient to stay whilst in Bath and this place exceded on both fronts! After an arduous 5 hour drive from the North East, we were greeted...

Shared a twin room. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and high pressure. Breakfast had quality ingredients - fresh fruit, toast, homemade jam and full English. Car park was a 5 minute walk away. Will go back.

Its a cozy feeling of home . The rooms are big and the bathroom was very modern and elegant. The location is ideal to reach the baths, theatre and other attractions. The staff are very courteous with service-spot on. What a pleasant surprise.
