    We wanted somewhere central cosy and friendly. The Griffin gave us just that. Bar manager was great, made us feel at home straight away. Bar staff were friendly, chef was a bit grumpy but I suppose that's in their nature. Breakfast was very tasty though!

    On a bit of a troop round the city trying to find a Sunday roast to round off our trip we'd already been turned down by three previous pubs. We stomped in out of the rain very hungry and ready to eat whatever was available....More

    The pub does not have its own parking, however Charlotte Street car park is 5mins walk away and costs £8.50/24 hours
