Arriving at the Firs was difficult - sited right at the bottom of a V of roads to a busy roundabout, so getting entry to the car park was not fun! Thankfully, our 3 nights meant 2 days of bus travel, and not having to get in and out of the car park on a daily basis. The Guest House... More

Booked 2 double rooms but got upgraded to a king sized room as a guest had decided to extend for another night. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was very filling with the hostess making sure we were well fed! A lovely place. Wish were could have stayed longer

The room is spotless, pretty and cozy. It has the most comfortable beds and the sheets fluffy, makes you want to just stay in bed all day. Great location to explore the beautiful Bath with free parking. The only downside is the breakfast, didn't look forward to it at all. Breads and croissant not freshly baked, with limited food choices.... More

This house is absolutely gorgeous. My sisters hired the whole house as the base for my hen do at the weekend. It has 6 fantastic double rooms with excellent storage space. The beds were so comfy. The house was about a 30 minute walk from the main city but a very easy, beautiful walk. The owner is very friendly and... More

What can I say? This house is truly sensational! We had a great time, the decor is amazing! It was clean, has a great central location and the property just has so much character and charm. There is so much thought and fine detail that has gone into this house. The kitchen is such a social room and was perfect... More

We had a lovely stay at the Firs, its about a 20-30 minute walk from the town centre and has beautiful views. The B&B itself has a charming country house feel and the room we had was spacious with a luxuriously large victorian bath. The bed was also extremely comfortable and breakfast was delicious. A couple of comments for the... More

Lovely house. Pillows too soft. Breakfast could have been better. Clean and welcoming. Nice cup of tea on arrival. Could do with a sign on other road for easier identificatio n. It was ideal for what we wanted for the circumstances of our visit to Bath.

After reading great reviews I was excited to stay at The Firs. Sadly it did not work out so well for us. The "family room" was tiny - and freezing - there was a problem with the heating which the owner could not fix. This was out of her control, but can't help feeling as though the problem should have... More

Service provided excellent. Our room was spacious, clean and fresh. B&B location is excellent for all the amenities Bath has to offer. Proprietors very helpful. Well recommended. Need to stay longer than one night to appreciate all Bath has to offer.

Why pay lots of money just to stay in the centre where accommodation may not be of a high standard, when you can pay little to stay at 'The Firs' with Elegance, comfort and a welcome stay,. A 15 minute stroll into the centre along the river. The rooms are beauty mixed with charm. Highly recommend!!
