The Bath Courtyard is in a recently renovated building in a quiet neighborhood. It's a ten-fifteen minute walk down to Great Pulteney Street and over the bridge to the center of town. Michael met us at the door to help with our (formidable!) luggage, which began the unflaggingly skilled, reserved, and yet quite friendly experience of being in his and...

This was our first trip to Bath and our stay here was awesome. We found our hosts to be very friendly and the rooms were lovely. Its about a 10min slow walk from the centre so if you are wanting to be smack in the middle, you should opt for something closer (but will be more expensive). Rooms have their...

This is my husband's and my second visit to The Bath Courtyard and once again we found the same immaculate, comfortable accommodation. Michael and Edgar have created a wonderful home and it is a pleasure to stay here. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean, with superb quality beds, bedlinen and towels. Breakfast is served in the conservatory with...

This welcome is matched by a classic and comfortable interior together with luxuriously furnished rooms overlooking the beautiful garden. Homely touches are continued with tea, coffee and...

This place is one of the best bed and breakfast. We were very impressed and everything was really made to feel like being home. The proprietor, Michael, was really friendly. First class service....

Calm and peaceful place to stay. Welcoming owners who were friendly and knowledgable about the area. Very comfortable bed with double aspect room overlooking the garden. Walking distance into the town. Will definitely stay again. Wonderful home made Marmalade and Muesli for breakfast. Well done Michael & Edgar.

This quiet retreat surrounded by mature trees yet a short walk from the centre of Bath was perfect for my weekend reunion- breakfast was carefully prepared to order, hosts were kind and helpful, bedroom was spotless and supremely comfortable, bathroom luxurious. Can't wait for my next visit!
