Though Anthony and his wife were away when we arrived, we were greeted and looked after by their very charming neighbour, George, who couldn't have been friendlier and put us totally at our ease in this lovely house, also cooking us a delicious breakfast. He felt like an old friend after no time at all and this continued when our...

We went to Bath to geek, eat cake and for one of us to sample Bath's cask ales and this hotel was a great base, as the walk to and from town is just the right length to sober up - or let your dinner go down. From the booking correspondence with Anthony beforehand to the greeting and cake from...

Really enjoyed our 3 nights . Anthony was a great host. Plenty of ideas of where to visit... Great guide! The breakfasts were superb! Close to the centre of Bath as we walked there in 15 minutes. Very handy to be able to park on premises.

I first discovered this delightful gem back in 2011 and loved it so much that I came back in 2014. 3 years later it is just as beautiful and has retained its shine and sparkle. What makes staying in this house special and unique are the hosts: Nicole and Anthony. Beautiful souls who make you feel so welcome. Nothing is...

We stayed two nights at the Beckford House. The proprietor of this B & B is just a delight, such a charming man and made us feel so welcome. The house itself is lovely and within walking distance of the centre of Bath. Anthony went out of his way to provide a wonderful breakfast every morning. The room we stayed...

You could not get better, a beautiful house, a lovely warm greeting when you arrive and the location to the shops is a 10 minute walk away. The room was comfortable and spacious and Anthony (the owner) was a true gent with a sense of humor. We came by car and left it in the drive. Spent two days walking...

A truly beautiful B&B very close to the town centre, we stayed for two nights over our daughter's graduation. Beautifully furnished and filled with wonderful original works of art, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast cooked by Anthony from local produce was truly delicious. Very hospitable and entertaining hosts. Can't recommend highly enough.

From our initial contact with Anthony several months ago, right through to when we left, Anthony has been warm, friendly, very helpful and thoughtful. The B&B itself is beautiful, with the period features retained, thank goodness, tasteful, with an eclectic collection of artworks, furniture etc. We loved it, didn't want to leave! The bedrooms are again, very tastefully furnished/decorated and...

I've just returned from our second visit to Beckford House. Anthony greeted us at the door with a warm smile and a hug when we arrived. This visit was no different from our first, we had a wonderful room to stay in - the B&B is on a bit of a hill, and the rooms overlook the town. The rooms...
