Broomhead Estate is the most beautiful place to relax and unwind. The moors and wooded hill sides make for some glorious walking; never the same view and always a rewarding corner of Yorkshire beyond. The views are outstanding and certainly the place to enjoy and 'get away from it all.' My only problem was the awful journey back south! The...

My sister and I stayed one night. We each had our own luxurious rooms in the self contained modernised annexe to the main house. We were warmly welcomed by Catherine and shown all the facilities which included lovely bathrooms, guest lounge and breakfast room. The breakfast was beyond excellent It was a wonderful experience which we hope to repeat one...

The family who own Broomhead Hall have lived here for 700 years and you can easily understand why they haven't moved! It is a working farm set in wonderfully peaceful countryside with spectacular views and good walks on all sides and yet only a few miles from Sheffield. The thoughtfully designed guest accommodation has been recently created from 18th century...

This B&B is situated a convenient 15-20 minute drive off the MI in a stunning location that offers total peace and quiet with panoramic views out over the nearby reservoir. Beautifully furnished and decorated, Broomhead lends itself to total relaxation in lovely countryside. The two...

Needing a change of scenery after the excesses of Christmas Day we came to Broomhill Farm with our three children and were warmly welcomed with a roaring fire in the wood stove in the guests' sitting room. With a whole wing of the house to ourselves it was extremely comfortable and spacious. We woke up to the peace and tranquility...

Having dropped the youngest off for his start at Sheffield Uni, I felt we needed somewhere rather special to head off to after. Although we arrived after dark, seeing the views from the house the following morning were spectacular and more than enough to soar anyone's spirits. Catherine and Ben run a very special place to stay around their 2...

Wonderful B &B that surpassed expectations on all ways. You can insert whatever superlatives you want but suffice to say the following are all excellent: House, welcome, view, beds and breakfast! That's pretty much every box ticked and all for a great value price which was money very well spent as far as we were concerned. Stunning spot that looks...

We had a truly wonderful time staying at Broomhead Farm. Ben and Catherine were so welcoming and calmly able to accommodate our rather scatty plans. They were unfased by us arriving rather late, after a wedding and made us feel quite comfortable. The house itself is steeped in family history (Ben's family have looked after the estate for 700 years)...
