The hotel and surrounding buildings are lovely buildings with an unusual history. It's nice to see greenery in such a built up area. The hotel position and shape meant it was not that noisey even though there were busy roads nearby.

Very nice experience at The Garrison Hotel, the room was large and comfortable! Hot breakfast on demand was very appreciated and good although we were a bit disappointed by the bakery’s option at the buffet. But there is enough options otherwise. All the staff we came across to was very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the noise of some other guests (On the phone loudly outside a 7am or until midnight)

Staff, showers and rooms were perfect. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was disappointing, I put this down to the hotel had just reopened from the lockdown. Receptionist refunded our breakfast costs for the Monday as we didn't want to be disappointed again. Will certainly be back as we've used this hotel at least twice a year for the last 13 years.

It is nice to stay in a smaller non-chain hotel with a unique ex barracks setting. The room was spotless and comfortable and the bar is cosy. We will stay here again on our next visit to Sheffield. It is well located when visiting the Hillsborough side of town.

Rooms were fine, clean and comfortable . Staff v friendly. But the food was poor....I don't know how they cooked the chips but they were revolting. Peas more grey than green and tasteless . Bacon on the hunters chicken was dreadfully salty. Meat pie was very good however.

Dear Guest, We appreciate your reflections following your experience here and are disappointed more aspects weren't more than satisfactory. The chips here are handcut and made fresh, so this could only be put to the frying conditions and we apologise, the seasoning on the bacon again as you say oversalted and a little too overpowering, we shall feed this back to the team, thank you.
