The hotel was perfect for our stay. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom had plenty of fluffy towels. Complimentary tea & coffee plus the continental breakfast was lovely. We were very impressed with all the staff they were very helpful on check in, breakfast and in the bar. Happy hour was also a bonus. An all round enjoyable stay.

Just spent 2 nights at the Psalter and what a pleasant hotel it was, I've stayed at a lot of places and this one was right up there. Rooms were comfortable and very clean with nice fresh towels each day along with bottled water and hot drinks option. Staff were friendly and accommodating with a good sense of humour. Great location, 2 for 1 on drinks Monday - Thursday, free parking and good selection at breakfast, what more do you need?

Excellent location for visiting student daughter. The room was excellent, equipped and decorated to a high standard; the breakfast was a treat...Especially pleased to be directed to the parking area at the rear for duration of the stay.

Omg wow!! What a hotel. This is exactly how every hotel stay should be. We were absolutely blown away but how amazing our stay was here. Everything was perfect. The staff were fantastic and are a really credit to the hospitality industry they went above and beyond assisting us and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The hotel itself is decorated very tastefully, I love the artwork around the hotel and it was spotless in every area of the hotel and in our room. We were pleasantly surprised to learn upon arrival that we got free continental breakfast with our stay and it was the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had the croissants and the fresh juice were so tasty! We also enjoyed cocktails in the evening, if you love pina Colodas this hotel bar makes one of the best pina colodas ever. Our room was very clean and comfortable, housekeeping was done everyday during our stay which we weren’t expecting but was a lovely touch which we greatly appreciated especially as we had been out in Peak District during the day hiking/biking and to come back to fresh towels and clean bedding was lovely. We forgot our toiletries too( partner packed) and was so relieved to find toiletries in the room and it was the white company flowers scent which I absolutely love the smell of. The room itself was modern - speaker mirror, usb charging ports at bedsides, smart tv with Netflix which was really good. We would come every weekend if I could absolutely lovely hotel and staff. We have already recommended to family who are coming to Peak District at end of September as a place to stay as we were so impressed! Thank you very much next time we go up to Peak District we will be staying here 100% I can’t wait!
