Adequate but not great. Lobby and restaurant are nice as are the business facilities. Staff pleasant and helpful Room was, tired clean and OK but ready for a refresh. 1309 right by a lift shaft so was noisy all night. Worlds smallest WC, assume they converted a cupboard to fit the toilet in which is separate to the main bathroom....

I recently stayed at the Novotel on a business trip. The rooms were reasonably spacious and the bed comfortable. However despite a March visit, the room was particularly warm and the AC pretty ineffective. Other work colleagues made similar comments so a summer stay may be a lot less comfortable. What made the four day stay particularly enjoyable was the...

This is a good hotel offering a good service from staff and facilities, no complaints and would stay again without question. Dinner at the hotel is good, menu somewhat limited but I guess most who stay in the hotel visit local restaurants. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from Reading train and bus station and located in...

This a good value, city centre hotel with everything you'd expect. Good communal areas, rooms decent and service all very pleasant. If it fits your budget for a city centre break then you wont go far wrong!

I couldn't get home so got my wife to book me in whilst I was travelling out of London. I had over imbibed in London so just needed somewhere to lay my head. Check in was painless and took a room on a high floor. My room was very smart although the configuration of the bathroom next to the bed...

We run a regular corporate dinner club event for up to 30 people at Novotel in Reading. The GM Anne Dubruille and her team are wonderful.
