Easy and breezey - does exactly what it says on the tin. No mint on the pillow but who cares. No window no cry. Enough room to swing a cat and much more. Good telly. Vending machine brekkie. Little heavy on the paperwork but that’s the only downside.

A cheap hotel with a decent room with all the basics you need. The room was clean and the bed not bad though the pillows were a bit rubbish but maybe I’m a pillow snob. It was a bit noisy from outside and from the people walking upstairs and closing doors but I still slept. Personally only came here to sleep so it did the job.

Not for spending time in. Functional for a night on the tiles or the footy. Good staff. Friendly. Room was small but even with a frosted window very claustrophobic ....but prison cellesque to say the least. Had to check out and get somewhere else....2 adults and 2 dogs in that size room....recipe for disaster.

As a regular user of easyHotel in Reading I must say that the mnagers there are very friendly and lookout for you. I am always happy with the room and service too. Angelika, the receptionist, always does an amazing job too. She is always good to talk to and she always makes sure that everything is good with my stay. She is very helpful and is extremely good at her job. Its always good to see her at reception because I know if I am in need of any help, there will be no issues with getting it. Thank you for being so great, Angelika.

An abomination. Feel sorry for the lovely staff who have to work there. Nowhere for luggage. Windows won’t ope, hot an airless. Nowhere to hang clothes. Not even a chair in the room. No surface to put anything. Most uncomfortable night I have ever spent.

I am currently staying at this hotel and I really am not happy with how it's going so far. CLEANLINESS - The first big one is that I found a USED COVID RAPID TEST in the behind the toilet in the bathroom! As Covid is getting big again, I was absolutely disgusted with how this wasn't even found by the cleaners. The windows were filthy, marks all over which looked like mud which can be cleaned over so quickly with a wipe. FUNCTIONALITY - They say they have air-con for free but they've locked everything so you can't even use it. Since the windows are locked and unable to be opened, being in such a small room, it can get hot quick. So it would be nice to be able to use some cool air-con. The system they use allows cool features as I had to search it up to be sure. Advertising air-con without it working just makes a room stuffy. STAFF - The only positive. The staff member on reception was very kind and welcoming. She told us what we needed to know. I don't think I will be returning to any easyhotels again in the future.

Only staying one night and just needed a bed, given other hotels in Reading where either fully booked or stupidly expensive I thought I would give this a try. Even paid extra for a window, which I admit was frosted so you cannot see through it. Arrived to a friendly receptionist who advised me as I booked online I got free WiFi but not free TV which I was aware of and did not need anyway. I admit the room was compact, but it had everything I needed a decent bed and heating I could control. The shower was perfectly good and the room was clean. As someone who used to stay in 130 hotels a year this would be no good for work as there is no desk. If though you just need a room for a night I would recommend. One minor niggle you do not get a glass in the room, even a plastic one would be better than nothing. This is not a luxury hotel so my stars are based on value for money not the quality of the cotton used in the sheets.

Booked a room thay specifically said on the advert that although nonrefundable of canceled I could change the date of the booking for free. When I tried to do this the hotel refused!! Very rude! Looking at the other terrible reviews I'm glad we didn't bother staying there and took our booking else where. Despite losing £45 for nothing!! False advertising and a rip off!! Inwoild not of booked if I wasn't able to change the date due to covid!!

Actually I never stayed at this hotel. I booked a room for £50 at 23:59hours as I needed emergency accomodation for some visitors. Plans changed soon after confirming the booking and I called the Hotel to cancel the booking at 00:05hours and I was informed that since my booking was a booking.com flexible rate I would be refunded. Two months down the line, emails were ignored, calls not actioned from both booking.com and Easy Hotel. At the end I was told that according to sone policy I was not elligible for a refund. Imagine it only took 6 minutes from booking and cancellation of the booking and they said the initial confirmation that I would be refunded which I got was a mistake by the employee who did not fully understand company policy. But still I just got a sorry we can’t refund you your money. I will never deal with this hotel again.

I could not fault this hotel. My friend and I were here for the Reading festival and not only is the location ideal but the staff really do go above and beyond. The amenities are basic but it is clean and guarantees a good comfy nights sleep. We had a problem with an alarm going off in the night in our room and they moved us in minutes without any hassle. Front of house staff are so friendly and really made our stay. Will definitely be back!
