Positive experience. Helpful staff and conveniently located. Swimming pool was very good. Hygiene throughout hotel was excellent. What you'd expect from a Hilton. Breakfast straightforward and easy to sort.
We had a great time. Had to book for the swimming pool but enjoyed our time there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was amazing! Bar and front desk service was great. We had the best experience and would love to stay again. There isn’t much close by outside the hotel but that didn’t bother us as we had such a great experience staying there. We stayed in one of the suites and it was perfect for 3 of us. Plenty of room for more people and had 2 bathrooms which was really handy.
Very well kept rooms, clean and quite. Room size is good too. It is not a new hotel but very well kept in shape. New lobby and food area including nice bar. Staff is super friendly, good selection of stuff. It's not in the city but close by are shops. Good place to stay.
A standard chain hotel experience: good business facilities, networking spaces, stylish reception areas and mute bedrooms. The staff were attentive and polite. The reason I’ve rated the hotel as poor relates to food and gym standards. The gym equipment is old for what you’d expect of the global business of Hilton. The food was very poor for vegetarians/vegans. When asked what the vegetarian option for lunch was, I was pointed to a bowl of over cooked gnocchi and the salad bar: all of which were basically side accompaniments for the meat dishes. That’s not catering for different dietary needs! In the evening at a business function the vege provision was packet quality tomatoe soup, a very small portion of bland lentil curry and the same pudding as others (which after trying, I discovered had gelatine in). The alternative offer was fruit salad -evidently the same stuff from the breakfast bar. It’s 2022! In the UK a third of the population choose to have more plant based options in their diets now, with a rapidly growing 20% being vegetarian and 8% being vegan. This isn’t a don’t eat meat comment, it’s a come on Hilton, cater to your audience comment.…
Stayed for 4 nights. Good points - free parking, great staff, excellent breakfast choices, housekeeping standards high. Not so good points - mattress was not on a sprung base so was too firm for my husband and I. The pillows were ridiculously soft and housekeeping were unable to provide an alternative. Consequently we slept poorly which spoiled our stay.
Easy to access with excellent secure underground parking. Very clean tidy and modern. Service at check-in was very efficient and friendly. Room was well appointed, clean and fresh. No really ideal views from the windows perhaps the only drawback. Breakfast and social area clean tidy and well managed
The room was great, I had a comfortable sleep and the pillows are to die for. I didn’t use the gym on this occasion but it had all you would need. The spa services were out of action due to covid but the sauna could be used; it was nice and clean but a bit small. Staff were very accommodating and the food was brilliant, so tasty. The chef went above, cooking something completely off the menu for our gluten free vegan friend. No faults on accommodation, customer service or quality of food. Walks nearby we’re picturesque. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to others.
I was expecting more for my stay but with an uncomfortable and depressing reception it wasn't a good start. I am meant to feel good after reception but they worked hard at making me feel like I booked the wrong hotel. They then only gave us two keys for one room and no key for a second room and we had to go back to mission control again!. Due to the reviews we avoided the restaurant and I had a sleepless night on a hard bed with road noise seeping through. The breakfast was ok but nothing to challenge my view that perhaps I should have gone somewhere else. We left and the gas leak smell in the basement garage was still there and alerted me to leaving quickly and not returning . So the story is it was ok but perhaps overpriced. The killer was the unwelcome reception that failed us. You don't get what you paid for.…
This is only the second Hilton I've stayed at but it definitely won't be the last. The king sized bed was one of the best hotel beds I've ever slept in and the king room was flawless. The extra features like the speaker inside the bathroom so you don't miss too much of what's on the TV while having a break was great as was the ice machine on the landings - wish more hotels offered these! Mini fridge in the room was very welcome and ideal for me as I'm working away for storing food to take into work for lunch. Excellent bathroom with a combined bath and shower. The wardrobe space was also very good. Big thumbs up for proper coat hangers provided too. Ironing board and iron provided too. The bar and restaurant are very spacious and had a great atmosphere every evening, even on Sunday night. The staff are very friendly and there was a very good range of drinks on offer. I could have spent most nights there but the draw of the health club was too much. Quite simply it's one of the best hotel health clubs I've used. Obviously well looked after and boasts an excellent range of machines and free weights. Perfect to unwind after a day at work. I'll definitely return. My pictures don't do the hotel justice.…
What a lovely hotel we got there on Friday quite late the staff on reception where lovely. The room we picked was very nice very clean . We went down to get a meal in the restaurant where we were greeted by I presume the bar and restaurant manager if not he should be Jacobo ( hope that’s right ) from Rome what a nice man nothing was too much trouble for him . Meal was very nice , so nice we had another meal the following night . I recommend this hotel well done Hilton . Roy
