We booked a Secret Escapes package, thrilled that The Feathers was listed on the website - and at such a reasonable price, we couldn't resist! From the minute we arrived the staff were fabulous, from taking care of our bags, cream tea and Bicester discount vouchers through to the wonderful 7 course tasting menu - and breakfast the next day... Stayed with a friend on Sunday 23rd Nov 2014 as this hotel is quite near the Bicester shopping village. We had a lovely stay, the Feathers is a charming little hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. The room was large, comfortable with a nice modern bathroom. My friend and I are both vegetarians and found the 7 course tasting menu... More

Enjoyed a luxiorious stay at the Feathers. Our room was delightful with a king size bed. Ring for tea/coffee so you don't have to make it yourself. Bar has a selection of 50 different gins so enjoyed a gin and tonic before dinner. Tasting menu delicious with 5 courses. Excellent breakfast the following morning. Woodstock is a lovely town with... Woodstock is a lovely quaint village within walking distance to Blenheim Palace, with a number of pubs and restaurants. On arrival at the Feathers, we were welcomed by a friendly receptionist, who took us to our suite personally pointing out the areas of interest as we went. The suite was impressive, large and well equipped to a high standard and... More

We stayed here on the Blenheim palace deal. The hotel staff were friendly but the hotel was unbelievably hot. We had to sleep with all of the windows open in October! Food in the restaurant was poor. Avoid the tasting menu at all costs. Obviously al the hotels in Woodstock are expensive but the room was not great for the... More

Lovely quirky hotel, clean and welcoming. Out room did have a slightly uneven floor (its an old building) however the overall place was very good. Breakfast exceeded our expectations and the evening meal ( 5 course ) was Fabulous! I would definately reccommend eating here. Within distance of local attraction's though Woodstock itself is quiet.

We visited this charming hotel on 30th October for a one night’s break through Secret Escapes. The deal included a standard room, cream tea with Prosecco (which we had to ask for and were charged for but this was rectified with profuse apologies), a 7 course taster menu and discount vouchers for Bicester Village (which we also had to ask... Our stay was slightly awkward because we were accompanying our friends who had had a marvellous time here last year and could not speak highly enough of the place. The premises and location are well described and deservedly praised by other reviewers, but I also recognise the comments by those who were less impressed with the service. The food was... More

I stayed here with my partner, we were given a room outside which was a bit strange, but very big. We were greeted by a lovely girl at reception, although our rooms were not ready yet (check in is at 3pm) she offered to take our bags and store them. Once we were able to check in (after a long... I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Feathers on business. Everything about my experience there was nothing less than outstanding. The room was spacious and clean - the bed comfortable and enveloping. Having traveled extensively, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was during the evening and overnight hours, both inside the hotel and outside in the... More
