Firstly check in is a bit of a pain.... You have to arrive before 1pm or after 4pm to check in. I phoned the property and left a message to say I would be just 5 minutes late but no one called me back. We arrive at 1.03pm and no answer at the property so had to wait 3 hours...

Stayed for just one night in a single room with king size bed on 1st floor (Room 3). Although this is at the front of the house and other reviews have mentioned the noise from the busy road. I can say that with the windows closed you can't really hear it. The room was large for a single and had...

Just 1.7kms from the centre of town, we found the Lakeside Guesthouse to have been an excellent choice. We chose to walk into Oxford but a bus is also available. The front-facing room was very quiet despite being close to the main road. The bed was comfortable and the room could be dimmed with the internal shutters. There could have...

Good spot to stay for weekend stay to visit our son. Short walk to city centre and easy drive in from the ring road. Parking tight but worked out ok for us. Good size room and bathroom with everything you require for a short break. Friendly staff and very good breakfast.

Booked a 3 night stay in a double ensuite room. The Guest house is very easy to find, a straight line, 15min walk from the centre of Oxford. There are a few buses from the centre that stop very close it the guest house if you don't want to walk but except the first bus we caught to get to...

Firstly, the staff at the lakeside were so warm and kind, and were very helpful with any queries raised. On top of this, the breakfast gave you the option of fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, as well as many cooked breakfasts incl. veggie options. The shower room seemed very modern, was very clean and the shower itself was incredible!! Only problem...

This Bed and Breakfast is well located on a major bus route into the city centre. If you are up for a bit of a walk it is not too far for that either. The room, en suite, and breakfast were all up to a good standard. The service was friendly and efficient. This will definitely be on my list...

Great location, in a lovely city. A 10-15 minute walk into the center, there is a picturesque walk along the Thames which takes and extra 5 mins but was worth it. Ample room to park, breakfast was lovely. All in all no complaints and would definitely return.

Pubs and restaurants with 10 mins walk. Oxford town centre 15 mins walk away. Dani and Martin and family and Rosie the dug are welcoming hosts. Rooms...
