This "hotel" is actually rooms above a differently named restaurant so it took a little time to find it. Reception is in the restaurant but we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff. The room was very comfortable and although no great views out the window it had an ensuite bathroom, coffee making facilities, TV and fridge. Everything...

My family and I stayed for 5 days at the Richmond it's has a prime location near to everything and not expensive but I think it needs to be refurbished. We only had breakfast in the restaurant that is owned by the hotel and the guy who serves breakfast was extra nice and really made sure that we are satisfied...

Acccomodation close to Oxford Centre, they had a great restaurant downstairs too. The room was very clean and the staff were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend! Great value for money also as other hotels in that area were very expensive.

what is there to like as it has bad service overall , there is no lobby as you check in through a restaurant that is situated beside the small entrance to the hotel room, the complimentary breakfast is a joke and is very abruptly terrible ,towel and bed is dirty as I found someone else's hair on the bed, provided...

Hotel is above a Lebesese Restaurant accessible via a couple of steps in a narrow passageway. Had to fetch the key from the restaurant to book in, and the waiter booked us in while serving patrons. Place was tidy enough but not what you'd call clean. Bed was comfortable. Only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel between two of...

We were a family of 3 in a Family Room. Had to take bags up stairs. No lift but very helpful staff who carried them up for us. Easy enough to get them down the stairs at the end of the stay. It was cosy but beds excellent, small fridge supplied and very quiet. The shower was small but quite...

Much better than I expected after having read reviews. Good location near the river and city centre. Quiet neighbourhood. Very special decoration inside the hotel but I liked it. The room was comfortable. Great to have a fridge. The bathroom was not great and not completely clean but ok. Only one small and one big towel for two people though....

The only good thing about this hotel is location, but even this can’t justify the price you pay for what you receive. To start with, we arrived to a closed check-in office. We had to go to the restaurant below the hotel and shout to get someone. The room itself was spacious enough, the small fridge was a welcome plus;...

The stay at Richmond wasn't very pleasant, as the overall standard was poor, especially bathroom and furniture. As a couple we first received only towels for one person, there was also some trouble with the way they charged money from us after booking. The restaurant downstairs is really nice, though, and the lebanese breakfast is ok.

Room 1. Avoid it. Dirty, hot, smelly (it stinks - the kitchen is right below), bits of sellotape holding wires in place, noisy fridge. I have stayed in cleaner places in the Borneo rainforest. We were unable to sleep. At 2am we decided to cut our losses and head home. We had paid in advance. I wrote a letter of...
