We had a nice visit in Oxford and this B&B was a part of that. The room was completely redecorated with a small outdoor veranda in the backyard. The owner was very helpful and tried to help out. The breakfast was really good and gave several different options to chose between, also a fresh fruit-salad was served.

Small but comfortable and nicely furnished bedroom. Lovely bed, quiet (certainly at back of house) and a cool room gave me a good night's sleep. So much better than many stuffy hotels. Bathroom was small and cold though with one of those showers you have to move around in to get wet. Breakfast room is small - just 3 tables...

Great wee spot, lovely rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Feels like a hotel. Great breakfast menu lots of variety and the owners are very nice people and a good laugh. Away from the business of the town but still easy access to the center.

I stayed in a twin room with a work colleague for one night. We arrived at around 7.30pm on a rainy Wednesday in September in a real rush and check in took just 30 seconds. We were showed to our room which was spotless and beautifully made up. We were just in Oxford on short notice for a one night...

We were there for a weekend here and Karen -owner- was taking excellent care of things so that we could enjoy our stay in Oxford at best. Well located, comfortable room and bed, small bathroom but just enough and excellent cooked breakfast with lots of options. I definitely recommend it!

Five Mile View Guest House is small but gives a perfect base to explore Oxford. It has free parking and is close to a bus stop to get into the city centre. We ordered a taxi which cost about £6. Breakfast was excellent with all tastes catered for and Marilyn was very friendly and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were made to feel very welcome. Marilyn couldnt be faulted. Our room wax quiet, the bed comfy and the breakfast was excellent. The b&b was well placed to travel into Oxford on the bus, and it was really handy having off road parking! We would certainly be happy to recommend this b&b to...

We booked into Five Mile View to see a show in Oxford City Centre. The B&B is really easy to find, has a good off-road car park is is perfectly placed for access by bus to the city. The room was comfortable and functional - all you need in my view - and was nice and clean. The welcome fro...

Marilyn, the owner of this B&B, agreed readily to store our luggage well before checkin time. She greeted us at the door, recognized us by name, and helpfully insisted on carrying up our bags herself. Plenty of flyers for local attractions in the foyer. The room was tiny--just enough room to get around the bed and sit in the comfy...
