The employees were very helpful and friendly. The whole hotel appears in the English style and exudes a cozy atmosphere. The room was very clean and well heated. The free wireless Internet worked well. There is nothing to complain about!

Stayed at Cotswold Lodge Hotel quite a few times now whilst visiting son at University. It is within easy walking distance of city center. I have stayed in both the newest rooms and older rooms in the courtyard. The new rooms are contemporary whilst the older rooms are quirky with character both being spotlessly clean.Despite being on a main road into Oxford...

I was here a few weeks ago for a small conference, the food was poor at best and the service not bad, however whilst passing through reception, I encountered the General Manager ripping into a couple of staff members, what an obnoxious person, no wonder hotels cant get staff. This is not the first time I have been to this...

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone! Very comfortable, excellent value, very polite staff - nothing was too much trouble. Room service exemplary and great quality food! Room was very clean and nicely decorated - traditional luxury.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Cotswold Lodge Hotel. We were delighted on arrival to find our room had been upgraded. This meant we had a gorgeous, large room with a seating area, humongous bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every day and although we didn't dine at the hotel, we had coffee in...

Good location, it's only a 10 minute walk in to the town and it's worth doing as it's a pretty place to mooch around. Plus there's free parking at the hotel. The hotel was nice and friendly staff, comfortable room. Only critique would be to improve the room service menu, it didn't list starters, desserts nor drinks. They were quick...

Oxford is a remarkably expensive city, but The Cotswold Lodge offers a very good deal only just outside the city centre. . Easily accessible, with plenty of parking space on site, and pleasant well equipped rooms, this is a good place to stay when visiting the city - a warm and cheerful welcome, cosy bar and comfortable lounge with attentive...

This was our second stay at CotsWold Lodge Hotel and we stayed in one of the courtyard king rooms (on both stays). The courtyard king rooms seem to vary in size, as we had a smaller room this time around than the first time. We were satisfied with the room with the exception of that it was slightly noisy coming...

The hotel falls in a category that I think off as "Typical Small British Hotel". Places like this , including the Cotswold Lodge, are generally OK for a holiday, but less so for a business trip. First, the wifi is not secure, meaning that connecting puts you in significant danger unless you take extra precautions (e.g. VPN). Second, rooms and...

Nice hotel in very old style. Clean with friendly staff but could in some areas do with an update e.g. Bathrooms. Breakfast great. Good location for city centre just 15 minutes stroll. Enjoyed my stay
