We stayed here one night on a train trip around the UK because it is walkable from the train station.
The rooms are in an old building over a bar. So as other reviews have noted there are stairs and some noise to deal with...More
Firstly the location is excellent - 5 mins walk from train station and you are there. Its surrounded by good bars and restaurants. I had some appointments all over the city and everywhere on foot that needed to go was only 10-15 minute walk.
Avoid it! No real ale. Cost £1 to use the toilet.
Probably the worst bar I've experienced, at least the rugby is on TV.
John Smiths is not ale, but it's the only option available.
