This hotel is some 400 years or so old and is very quaint. The rooms are not particularly large but adequate. Housekeeping was a bit ordinary-we had one empty bottle on the floor of the room which was not cleaned up during the whole stay. The TVs are minuscule and barely visible from the bed. The beds are very comfortable...

The Bath Place Hotel gives a taste of what real Oxford life is like--but with all of the mod cons. Its location is perfect--between Wadham and New College. Its rooms are quaint--the floors slope a little and the stairways are narrow--but it gives a good taste of what Oxford was like, 50 or 100 or 200 years ago, except that...

This hotel is fantastically located for looking round Oxford. We had the modern annexe room which was compact but had all the amenities we wanted. It was clean and comfortable and less than a minute from the main hotel where we had an excellent buffet breakfast. There was also a lovely sitting room with a television for guests' use and...

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in the beginning of november. It really was a positive experience. Bath place hotel is a small, cosy and charming little hotel. Its history goes back to the 17th century, and there are parts of the old city wall still preserved in its breakfast restaurant. Situated very central in Oxford, it is an...

We booked the hotel through the visitor's information office in the City upon our arrival. We wanted accommodation within walking distance of everything as were only had one night to see the City. The Bath Place Hotel is ideally located. While the room was very small it had everything we needed. I was abit worried that the pub next door...

Hotels in central Oxford are expensive and limited. The hotel has a great location, right smack in the city centre, which is super convenient. The rooms are very small and quaint, but comfortable for a few days. It can get loud at night as students walk through the alley outside the rooms to the pub, but this usually quiets down...

Really sweet, old worldy uncomplicated and unpretentious small hotel in the middle of Oxford close to everything. Family run hotel for many years; service was very friendly & helpful and also very knowledgeable about what to do in Oxford. We stayed one night less than anticipated for personal reasons. We were prepared to pay. Hotel managed to fill the room...

Firstly this is not a Premier Inn or a Travel lodge and once you've got over that you will enjoy your stay. Rooms are quirky but clean, bed and pillows comfortable, shower hot and powerful, breakfast basic but ample, the only problem we had was the squeaky gate at the hotel entrance (we stayed in room 5). We can understand how...

I stayed here in August for 1 night. The hotel is located in the center of Oxford in a very quiet area. The room was lovely with a romantic view on the roofs of Oxford. If you want to experience the ancient atmosphere of Oxford I recommend a staying in this hotel

a friend booked this for a one night stay and the location was great, although the back of the room over, looked the terrace of the Turf Tavern, where drinking goes on quite late. The room was large with a comfy double bed and a single but the whole place needed a coat of paint and an upgrade. We had to...
