As seen from the reviews this is not a 'standard chain hotel' experience. The building itself is uniquely quaint and of its era and hence its character. We had no issue with the standards as it is clean and modernised with all the necessary facilities....More

apologies for the delayed reply... if its of any use now, the hotel did agree to hold our luggage : We had a few hours to kill before taking the bus to Heathrow, and we left our bags at the reception.
