The location of this hotel is very good. That said, this hotel looks a little run down and offers too little for too much money. The bed wasn't great, the breakfast was basic and to ask so much money for any extra is prepostorous. Also the boiler couldn't give enough water for both of us to take a bath. A...

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved the location - walking distance to just about everything in Oxford. The Turf tavern had great food - worth waiting for a spot to sit! My husband had stayed here previously so we knew it might be a little loud from the Turf (especially since it was final exams and graduation weekend)...

We were very pleased with the Bath Place Hotel. It is a charming place and the room was neat and clean, with biscuits, tea, coffee and lovely soap/shampoo. The location is great. It's very close to the Bodleian, Ashmolean and the Oxford University schools. We visited the University's Christ Church College and saw lots of students in capes who were...

Lovely to stay in this central and comfortable hotel in the centre of Oxford. Rooms small but incredibly homely and warm, lovely continental breakfast with excellent coffee and lovely staff. Economic too for this expensive city.

This hotel is just fantastic. I booked online and booked room 7. It was up two flights of stairs and the second set is very steep, as it said on the booking site. It was a very quiet room and I could not hear anything outside in terms of noise. The room is quite basic but was cleaned daily and...

Stayed here for two days in middle December. The Hotel was a delightfully quaint place tucked away down a cobblestone walkway, just a few min walk from the main Broad Street. From the well appointed and cosy rooms (and the tiny bathroom with its awkardly tilted floor) to the quaint breakfast room (and a small but delicious breakfast spread), and...

Stayed her for a single night and for a hotel in the middle of Oxford it is extremely good value for money. The rooms are small but well furnished and with a good amount of space for bags etc. Nice, personable service from the staff and we felt very welcome. Great place for an affordable stay in the centre of...

Cosy little b&b tucked away down a cobbled street in historic Oxford. I was in a smallish room - very warm (important in December), clean and lots of history everywhere. Continental breakfast was good; you can get a cooked breakfast too. Good location - a 5 min walk into town. A must for history or classics lovers!

I've stayed here numerous times over the past 15 years and can report the Bath Place Hotel is as good a ever. Highly recommended if you want a charming English experience. If you want corporate modern accommodations, go elsewhere. If you want Oxford charm and a great location, this is the place to be. The facilities are very old, but...

Stayed here for a quick weekend away in Oxford. The hotel is in a good central location located down a pretty little cobbled alleyway and is very handy for the Bodleian Library etc and is located just off an alleyway next to the Bridge of Sighs. You can walk to the train station from there (~15 mins) or get a...
