We were very disappointed with this accommodation. Breakfast is served so late, we had to skip it to make our tour. The room was small, tacky and overpriced. The good thing - it was on the bus route, and Oxford has an excellent bus system. The location was near the University. Too bad it wasn't more accommodating.

Stayed here for just 1 night.the location was great being just a 10 minute walk to Christ church and the city.very easy to get around on foot.the parking was secure behind the guest house. The room we had was clean and comfortable, but quite dated with a mishmash of furniture, but ok for being so close to the centre.the breakfast...

Ok, here we go, Newton House is an old property which is tired around the edges. The bedrooms have clearly been given some form of makeover but the breakfast room & outside areas are slightly unwelcoming. Set on a main road you're approx 15 minutes from the city on foot & a little further to the train station. Yes there's...

Met on arrival and shown to room. Free parking. Triple room, v old fashioned and tired. Smelt damp and had damp patches on wall by single bed. Couldn't get to dressing table as bed in way. Bathroom v basic , again could do with an update and new sealant around base of shower screen as bit black!! Breakfast okay. Couldn't...

from the moment we walked in the door, the welcome was brisk and businesslike and we were left to our own devices. If we needed help or directions we were on our own. Good location but that's about it. The breakfast room was dark and unwelcoming and the view from the window showed some half dead pot plants and rubbish...

We stayed here over the Easter weekend for one night. The hotel was easy to find on the main road, a 10 minute walk from the town centre and a 15 minute walk from the train station. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The room was large with a comfortable bed, tea and...

We stayed here for 1 night over the Easter weekend. The hotel is a brisk 10/15 mins walk from the town centre, it's very easy to find on the main road. We were very happy with our room, plenty of room and plug points, tea and coffee sachets, comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the morning. The breakfast...

Stayed in twin room at top front of house, most definately not recommended, traffic noise all night long. Very dated, not very clean. Went to use kettle to make drink, spout full of grimy dust. Drink sachets out of date. Bed reasonably comfortable but not convinced all bedding was laundered, hairs found in bed. Only stayed as landlord had taken...

For those of you expecting high quality over fussy customer service etc please don't expect it here. They very much leave you to it from the moment you get there right up until you checkout. That's ok with me because I didn't have anything to complain about. Good points: nice breakfast, service daily, free wifi, homely décor, clean & probably...

Cost me £75 for the room and breakfast. Maybe a bit too much. But nice room (ignoring the curtain tie back bracket falling off the wall) There was a bad customer experience moment when Id been calling them all day and no one had answers but as a substitute when they finally called back at 8pm I could check out...
