Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is ideally situated for Oxford city centre, just a 5 minute walk along the Thames and you are in the city. Plenty of parking and far enough away from the road for a very peaceful night's sleep. Our room was bright and spacious and very clean. We ate in the restaurant on the...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and took full advantage of our location. We have recently reviewed our breakfast offering and worked hard on introducing some new items ie home baked breads so it is super to read your favourable comment. Kind regards Wendy Procter

Good hotel, its in a lovely location that you can walk along the river to the city centre or just in a cheap cab ride, a bit on the expensive side ..... Service was good, had a Superior room overlooking horse fields at the back ... Lovely.

We had a one night stay here which included dinner We arrived very early-10 am and amazingly we were able to check in immediately as a room was available I thought the evening meal would be average as it usually is in such hotels but it was delicious and my starter of blue cheese panna cotta was one of the...

If you need to drive to Oxford but then want to walk into the centre, this hotel is a good choice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a pool, gym etc. I didn't visit the gym but the pool was lovely, although it and the changing rooms etc. do need refurbishment. I booked a superior double and was given...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay with us. I am pleased you enjoyed the bedroom - we do have a wide variety from ultra modern (introduced earlier this year) to a 15th century farmhouse! It is also good to read of your comments about our breakfast as we have recently intorduced some new...

Stayed here for three nights while visiting family, so we had two rooms, our was a Superior Balcony and my in-laws a Deluxe Twin. Both rooms were well-appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean, and very quiet, worth the extra money: the room was a bit more expensive than we would usually pay, but it was still peak holiday season, and the...

I booked a double room with a balcony and it was worth the extra cost. It was spacious and nicely furnished. We were unfortunate as the lift had broken down but help was always at hand. The breakfast was really enjoyable. Again prompt and pleasant service. Location is excellent just a lovely short stroll along the riverside to the town....

Have just left here after staying for 2 nights - the rooms where booked and paid for by a family member and I have to say I was very shocked to discover the cost . I wouldn't say that this is a 4* hotel - the quality of the rooms and finishings are more 3* . We had a meal...

This is a large and busy hotel, which is managed very successfully with lots of attention to detail. It is within comfortable walking distance of the centre of Oxford, with a riverside path. There is ample parking. Our room, 266, was very spacious and our requests for a quiet location on the upper floor and sheets and blankets instead of...

A good location - can walk into Oxford in 20 mins - good if you want to take your car as most central hotels don't have car parking. A fairly modern hotel and a good base to stay. Had a deluxe room which seemed like a basic four star room - does need a lick of paint here and there...
