We spent only one night at Holywell and it was well worth the stay. Close to the centre of Oxford which made walking to everything so easy. The owners have decorated in a way that makes you feel welcomed and homely. The sitting room with warm fire was very relaxing after a rather cold afternoon walking the colleges.

As promised in our 2014 review, we returned to the Holywell B&B on our Spring trip to England. The historic building is in the absolute center of the most beautiful parts of Oxford (but just far enough removed from traffic and noise). The Bodleian Library, the Sheldonian Theater, Blackwell's, the colleges, the Oxford Botanic Garden and the Turf Tavern are...

My husband and I stayed at the Holywell B&B for two nights. This B&B has a great location, the rooms are beautifully decorated, super clean, and very comfortable, but most of all we felt right at home with Stuart and Carrie. They made sure we had everything we needed and were available to give us excellent advice on the activities...

I will begin by saying if you visit Oxford stay at the Holywell B&B. OUR stay there was perfect and I'm sure yours will be too. The welcome from host, Carrie and Stuart is was warm and genuine. The house itself is tastefully decorated and (I was going to say clean but that's not sufficient) IMMACULATE! Our room was one...

Our room at Holywell Bed and Breakfast was as charming, impeccable, and comfortable as we anticipated from the website information. We felt 'at home' immediately. Our hosts, Carrie and Stuart, were most welcoming and hospitable, providing lots of tips and information about their 1600's house, good spots for eating around town, lovely gardens and places we should visit. Anyone who...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We have traveled all through Europe and stayed in numerous B&B's and this ranks among the best in our opinion. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station and is about a 3 minute walk to the center of some of the best sites and pubs in...

only 2 rooms which are furnished very individually. Not a place to stay if you have any mobility issues. Nice breakfasts, not too over facing, although they do ration the toast! Very handy for Oxford - just a short walk into the centre.

Our visit to Oxford was to take in the the German market during a short break in Oxmas week. We stayed at Holywell B&B which was so relaxing with pleasant surroundings along with help from Carrie and Stuart on local places to see and do. We would recommend to anyone visiting Oxford it is the place to stay good value...

We stayed in the top floor room with the twin beds because it was the only one available, and even though my husband was sad we were in separate beds, we cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was! We stayed in September 2016 for 3 nights, and not only was the room clean, private, and comfortable, but the breakfasts...

We had a 3 night stay at the B&B and were so please with our choice. It is on the doorstep of all of the attractions in the city on a quiet road. It is really cosy and the hosts Stuart and Carrie were brilliant. Breakfasts were really good and not over facing. The pancakes are worth a try. And...
