The hotel is located centrally between Oxford Centre and Summertown, just a £2 trip by the bus. The rooms were fairly small, but newly furnished. It was parking space in the back, and the breakfast was excellent. We were located on ground floor, and it was difficult to get the heat up. WiFi was free, but extremely slow. Totally we...

Clearly this place had been remodeled recently. Rooms were a bit squeezed, but comfortable. Bathroom was larger in comparison, and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent, and the area looked like it should have been used as a restaurant. It was available all day, as a place for small group meetings (no food service). The rear garden was lovely, and a...

This is a perfectly nice hotel, with a couple of minor issues. On the plus side : it's well located, the bed was comfy, there's wifi and free parking. The staff were perfectly charming and it was not expensive. Now the issues : the car park is small and it was a bit of a squeeze ; the room was...

Very friendly staff beautiful breakfasts, and very clean rooms including comfy bed!! Quite central about 30 walk into the centre or jump on a bus straight outside the hotel. Road noise if you keep the window open but double glazing is very effective. In summer there needs to be a fan in the room though. Lovely loving and garden to...

When we checked in, we were a bit disappointed with the room as it was quite small with hardly any room to manoeuvre but we somehow managed. It was quite hot and stuffy and we requested for a fan which was promptly given to us. We did pop open a window to let some air in but it was very...

I really liked this hotel. I requested a room at the back due to previous reviews saying that the road was loud, and even though the hotel was fully booked the staff accommodated my request. Best things about the hotel / room: hotel is very nice in appearance and tidy/quiet, breakfast room is lovely and offers great food (with good...

Good things first: nice interior and clean, good location within a walking distance to the city centre (also a regular bus service). Infortunately the room was very noisy, no sound insulation (Banbury Road is very busy), I could understand every word my Asian and American neighbours said in their rooms-including the accents. But the worst thing was the lady at...

We were warmly welcomed by Joyce who provided us with all the necessary information. The room was ok but rather small which became annoying after a few days. Breakfast was nice, the location very good with the busstop right in front of the hotel - Hygiene was ok but our room somehow was rather damp which caused an unpleasant smell.

Just had one overnight in Oxford with work. Arrived 6 pm evening before meetings. The receptionist who checked me into my room was fab, the friendliest, most helpful checkin I ve ever had. She was interested in me and when you travel a lot that was quite refreshing. She provided valuable information about where to go and how to get...

I had a lovely welcome and was given relevant information. Beautiful décor and spotlessly clean. Wonderful room right at the top of the hotel, luxurious and very quiet. Free Wi-Fi in all the rooms and an excellent breakfast served in a delightful conservatory dining room. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone, one of the best I've ever stayed...
