Had a lovely stay, room was nice and comfortable. Couldn't hear any noise from the pub downstairs. Was able to park on site for the weekend included in the price which was great and the friendly staff let us leave it there for the day after we had booked out whilst we wondered round town pretending to be inspector Morse....

In a good location near to city centre. Very clean rooms, refurbished bathroom and comfortable beds. Needs updating, dining room very old fashioned with wobbly tables and main staircase could do with some new carpeting and lick of paint. Very dated. Tiny televisions in room , Sky TV didn't work but free wifi. Only one person serving breakfast so can...

I booked for one night only, and as an elderly single traveller was initially put off by the noise and high testosterone level of the tiny crowded bar, but as all the customers were watching a football match, that was forgivable. My room, number 7, was at the top of the building up a steep and winding staircase, and was...

I know hotels in Oxford are expensive but paying £95 for a room in this place is a false economy. The room I had was sweltering and the regulator on the radiator was broken, when it started raining it poured into the room and the noise from the bar and the street was a constant distraction. The staff were friendly...

This is an old inn which wouldn't be a problem except the lights dont work, the shower has no water pressure, and best of all the ceiling leaks everytime the room upstairs flushes the toilet. And to top it all off ir cost 250 US for two nights. Dont stay here no matter how desperate you may be.

Having travelled here on business. Booked in to this establishment for one night. This is the worst hotel I have stayed in for 30 years!! The rooms were run down and filthy. Blood stained tissue in bedside cabinet had not been removed, toilet had not been cleaned. Mouldy duvet on bed.... I could go on. This establishment is over rated...

We arrived after a not so long journey from visiting Worcester and were delighted to see a lovely display of flashing blue Christmas lights on the mature trees outside of the Inn. Parking was easy in the secure car park and after dropping our luggage off in our very cosy oak beamed room ( with a very nice modern en...

First time our family stay here, we immediately greet by warmth welcome of Peet and George. From then on, every time we have a chance to come toOxford, we always spend our time here. Rooms very nice and we can experience the old style travelers way of life. We are booked for this coming trip on 12th December 2015.

This was the worst stay in the UK. Terrible atmosphere. Run by rude loud mafioso style owners. The ceiling is about 6ft high. No lights, the ones they had weren't working. It really didn't feel clean at all. If you're not afraid of rats the extremely loud pub will ruin your sleep anyway.

We were on the 3rd floor, up a rickety staircase that looked very fragile. We had to bend our heads to get to the room, and when we got there we were surprised. It was 'decorated' in black with purple accents. But the worst thing was the lack of lights. My husband had to shave in a black bathroom with...
