Great boutique heritage hotel. The building is a delight but lots of small sets of stairs up, over, down, around to your room. Not sure if there are any accessible rooms - check before you book! Quiet. Great linen sheets, fresh each day. Quality minibar. Fantastic library with books you want to read, not tatty leftovers. Variety of room sizes...

Visited here for a belated valentine's day afternoon tea, as the place looked very nice. On arrival we thought the hotel looked nice and the outside terraced area was lovely, although the weather was a bit too chilly to sit outside unfortunately - although we were offered the choice of inside or outside. We were quickly seated and although offered...

We are just finishing about a week's stay at the OPH, which we have enjoyed very much. Despite being between two busy streets, we were not bothered by any noise except the charming pealing of the bells of nearby churches. It was a wonderful base from which to walk all over the city of Oxford. We never once used our...

Lovely old building, right in town centre - great staff, nice rooms with modern facilities although no bath only a shower, which I would have preferred. Breakfast was delicious, but when you pay over 300 GBP a night you would expect it to be included, which it wasn't. Ordered room service and had an excellent dinner.

The charming Old Parsonage is perfect in every way. It is small boutique hotel oozing charm. The staff is extremely warm and friendly. The reception area is small with a large fireplace ...much like being in a home. The delicious and busy small restaurant is also on the first floor. Our room was up and down stairways with no elevator....

Yes, it is a beautiful hotel with atmosphere, but it is very expensive. The price was fine with us - we wanted to stay at a nice hotel and were looking forward to it. We are also experienced travelers and have stayed in many 4 star city hotels with small rooms without incident. But we did expect a room where...

A central location with included reserved parking. The welcome and service from the whole team from the minute we arrived to when we left couldn't be faulted. Attentive without being over bearing. Food and room service also excellent.

Perfect place to stay when in Oxford either for business or pleasure. Much more intimate than the bigger hotels in the city, even cosy, but just as comfortable and well-kept. The nicely stocked library and sturdy free bikes compete for your attention, but both are high quality and very worthwhile (just don't try reading while riding your bike). It's a...

We stayed at the Old Parsonage to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. The location is excellent. Close enough to the centre to walk (or bike) but just far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. The service was superb from the reserved parking, check in and bar/restaurant. The room was lovely. Not huge but immaculately clean with a...

A truly beautiful hotel made even better by excellent service. I stayed as part of an international group in oxford for a client conference and the foreign guests loved what is a quintessentially English luxury hotel. There are some steps to some of the rooms but the team here are very happy to help with luggage, and pretty much anything...
