from the outside not much kerb appeal, looked very dated in need of a lick of paint ? Very friendly staff, room adequate, bed very comfy but bedroom was very cramped,( too much in there for space, the shower area and toilet suitable for small people! wash hand basin in the room. the room was warm, colours of linen inviting...

I don't understand all the negative comments, but since they date last year or earlier I guess changes have been made since then. It is a really pretty accomodoation! You would not think that from the outside look of the house but it is adorable inside! Our room was quite spacious actually and also really clean. As we both are...

Rude receptionist on phone. Dirty rooms price not cheap no parking on site. Didn't like the Asian guy who runs the hotel and hardly anyone speaks reasonable English! Breakfast was cold. Whole stay was unbelievably dreadful. Tips for others: plenty nearby hotels are similar priced and far cleaner than this.

My room was as clean as it could be, with worn out furniture, old carpet and in need of re-decorating. Must say bed was comfortable. I was meeting friends in that area (Summertown) so location was convenient. To get to city center is a £8-9 taxi ride but Oxford has excellent bus services. Not a place to stay for visitors...

This B&B is very run down, worn out, jaded and in need of a complete face-lift. Standards of cleanliness leave much to desired. We experienced dirty table cloths, a dirty towel, heavily marked walls and and a bathroom door that was filthy and sticky to touch. The blind in the bathroom was covered in mould and the window catch broken....

Adams Guest House provides a clean and economical accommodation if you're staying in Oxford. The innkeepers are kind, well-informed, and prepare a filling breakfast. NOTE: smoking is not allowed in premises, but smokers stand right outside the door and the smoke billows back into the guest house.

Small room, tiny shower, bathroom door would not shut, furniture old and dated. Breakfast was included, but was so small you could count the beans on the plate, overall for nearly £90 a night this was a bit steep. If this place was in Blackpool it would be £30 a night tops!

Milk was gone off, cracked teacups in room no plug sockets, bathroom was tiny didn't have a hairdryer although stated on website that it did. Breakfast was mediocre at best, lukewarm. Wasn't around when we departed. Beds were comfortable and that was probably it's only redeeming feature to be honest.

A friend and I shared this place. We commented it was super cold (room number 7) There is a lady there that seems very nice but having visited different places, I felt she was not genuine. One of those people who suddenly turn "english no good!" when you asked a difficult question. We were cold. The room was very, very...
