I booked this hotel but the night before I had to cancel. My office in Oxford called the hotel to ask for a bill regarding a charge. They told my colleague they would charge the full price for all 4 days. He asked for the cancellation policy twice but never sent. I started getting charges on my credit card and... More

After a pleasant 10 minute stroll from the town centre, we were warmly greeted by the manager as we stepped into the cafe. We knew that we were too early to check-in, but our request to leave our bags while we toured was enthusiastically welcomed. When we returned to the hotel we were each offered a free glass of Proseco... More

I stayed at the hotel the night of November 27th for business. The room was very clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. It is 10 min walk to the center. Located im a very quiet street without noise from outside. All the staff treated me very well, especially the Manager, who personally reserved a taxi for me. I ate a... More

We recently stayed at the Ethos hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary, the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and tidy, we would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed hotel.

I stayed at the Ethos Hotel for one night while on business. Overall it was a disappointing experience. I booked at the last minute and found the prices were very expensive. To be fair, Oxford in general is very pricey, and I was looking for somewhere close to the city. It was about a 10 minute walk to town -... More

It's quite a way from the main attractions on foot, and since Oxford is intending to remain in the 1800s, there is no Uber. You'll have to take a cab around. Upon arrival we were made to sign a check-in sheet, but it was not clear what we were signing for (there were no terms to agree to). Check in... More

I live relatively close to the hotel, but when a close friend recommended I pop by after the school run for coffee and breakfast I thought it was worth a try. As soon I opened the door I was greeted by friendly and efficient service. Both breakfast and coffee was fantastic and reasonably priced. A perfect morning stop off as... More

Cafe Ethos was serving mushroom soup for lunch. It was very good and home made by the manager, Sharon. It was delicious and my husband and I both enjoyed it. There is a very friendly and warm welcome here. We have tried the pizza and stuffed peppers and enjoyed both. Well done Sharon.

We only stayed 1 night. It was a bit difficult to find and there was no parking available for our car. We had to park a couple of blocks away. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco and shown to our rooms. One of our travelling companions was on the ground floor right next to the road. She... More

We were only here for one night with our sweet dog Barney, and we had a lovely stay! The location was absolutely perfect, the staff was super friendly, and the room was clean and bright. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a stay in Oxford that feels like you live here. It's nice too that it was... More
