Stayed at this hotel for two nights to celebrate my birthday. After reading some of the reviews, I arrived with some trepidation which was, however unfounded!!!! Our roiom No. 4 was light, airy, warm, clean and comfortable. We had a pleasant welcome on arrival at Reception and was given all the information asked for, The only drawback we found was...

We booked this hotel for my husband's 40th birthday - because the bedrooms on booking.com looked large and characterful. We were immediately greeted by two foreign receptionists who spoke only basic, fragmented English. We were asked to pay for the room upfront. Stupidly we did so. The 'electronic dancing Santa' and the yellow and black danger tape which adorned the...

Well we read some of the reviews here on Trip Advisor and were a little concerned. But as it is one of the very few hotels in the area that would accept a dog we went for it. Oh my what a lovely place, friendly staff, clean rooms, lots of hot water, a nice bar and a very good breakfast....

Stayed good friday night 2014. Had to wait at reception. Staff all spoke bad English. None of them were English. Room was old and in need of attention. Paper peeling off walls. No shower stand. Breakfast buffet was very very greasy.

The Crown & Cushion was a delight. The room was very comfortable, the meals were delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My wife and I met with my wife's brother, and his much loved dog, and the four of us were made to feel welcome and at home. My wife and I plan to spend some time in...

We did a Red Letter Day Driving Experience at a nearby village - Enstone. The hotel wasn't far away and we found it easily, parking was available at the rear of the hotel. We entered the hotel from the back entrance - very pretty! Checked in and we were given the free wi-Fi passwords on a piece of paper all...

We were a party of three arriving on a wet and windy dayfor lunch. We were not very warm. There was a real fire but very little life in it.They were very short of staff. The barman had to attend to the bar and serve the meals with the result that it was thrown at us in his rush. One of...

I have stayed here many times before - its been satisfactory for the price - but not anymore. The room was ok. The breakfast was terrible. I asked the chef if he had a temp gauge to hand. He said yes. While he was away getting this another lady came out and started to remove the food! Well the guy...
