A friendly, welcoming place to stay very close to pretty Burford with easy access from A40. Breakfast was fine and plenty of free parking. The owner was very friendly and had local knowledge of places to eat which we made use of.

This was our second visit to the Burford Lodge our room was spacious with a large four poster bed. Good size bathroom with a jacuzzi. We decided to eat in the hotel and enjoyed a lovely meal we can recommend the sea base and deep friend prawns. Breakfast the next day was excellent and the porridge was as good as...

The staff were very nice and very helpful and Burford is a 10min Walt from the hotel. However.... The hotel is right next to a busy main road. The triple glazing did cut the noise right down but we like to sleep with the window open so didn't sleep very well. The only food on offer for dinner was Chinese...

The hotel is traditional Cotswold style in a great location. It seems to be running on a shoe string - I only saw 2 members of staff in the 2 days. There was a slight smell of drains on the ground floor and it's weird to have to order your breakfast for the stay as you check in! The manager...

Horrible from start to finish. The hotel was impossible to contact before my stay due to "holiday" , the hotel was unstaffed so I had to enter via a back door and my room was unlocked (seriously!) The bed was adequate but the emergency light fitting buzzed all night, breakfast opening was so late in the morning that it was...

Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager Liu who was friendly and allowed us to check in early. The lights in our room weren't working but that was simply a fuse and fixed immediately. The room was very nicely decorated in a country house style although was in need of a fresh coat of paint all round and a...

The hotel was dark and dirty! Very very tired rooms Whilst the reception on arrival was pleasant, the hotel had a bad odour. The door to my room didn't lock easily and it was apparent that in the night no hotel staff were on the premises, which personally was a security concern, as anyone passing could access the common passageways...

The Manager Mingling Liu was very friendly and made us to feel very welcome. The room was adequate for short stay. The bed very comfortable. Window over looking the golf course. Toilet and shower room to high standard. Had to order breakfast night before not impressed by this as no one knows what they would prefer the day before. Evening...
