We stayed 2 nights at the Bull. The location was perfect on the busy high street in Burford. We managed to park in the car park one night and on the street the next. We booked a small double which was actually quite large with a good sized bathroom. However it was very hot because of an extractor fan from...

Disappointing! Staff not overly friendly! Booked as a treat but not worth the money! Wouldn't bother again! Restaurant was nothing special as frequent traveller to France it was not French cuisine at its best! Village of Burford is lovely though and certainly worth a visit!!

Well equipped rooms in a period setting. Sky TV was most welcome. It is halfway up the hill in the centre of Burford. We were served a superb breakfast (which followed an absolutely top-drawer evening meal). It is claimed that King Charles II, Nell Gwynne and Horatio Nelson all stayed here. The staff were pleasant and helpful. They keep their...

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Didn't realise it was circa 15th century and amazing the history, nice small historical anecdotes around the hotel. We phoned up for directions to the car park which is small but we managed to park behind the hotel when required. We also asked about an early check in as we were going for a...

Room 10 is dreadful and represents poor value unless it is less than £75. Poor fixtures and fittings.Good reviews of this hotel are confusing unless we go the worst room in the place.Only the Restaurant represents reasonable value

Excellent location, especially for wonderful shops in Burford. Helpful staff. Dog friendly. Family friendly. Car park where parking is mostly impossible. Good value and would certainly return to this historic gem.

Just returned from two nights at this great hotel in such a convenient location in Burford. We stayed in a courtyard room which was large, nicely furnished and quiet, ideal for my husband who sometimes has difficulty with stairs. Breakfast was full of choice and great quality, as was the meal we had one evening. We had taken our two...

We had a more modern room at the back of the hotel which was spacious even with our travel cot. The facilities were great and lots of choice for breakfast. We didn't use the bar or restaurant as we stayed to attend a family wedding nearby x

Sweet little hotel in charming Cotswold village. Quirky old world hotel design replete with a lovely, cozy lounge. Located in the heart of the village near the local shops and pubs. Solid restaurant offerings. Wonderful and attentive staff made us wish our short stay was longer.

We had the Trafalgar, Room 6, for a Friday night, with dinner and breakfast, but not on a deal. Total cost £178. Great room, all very comfortable, with Sky, WiFi, nice ensuite (but the bath panel needed fixing, no big deal). Good dinner in cosy restaurant, where we had a equally good breakfast the next morning. Charming service, parking best...
