Super place to stay. Can only second all the earlier comments. Could not fault the stay and an ideal place to base yourself if touring the area. Great hosts and good suggestions provided for both touring the area and eating - do try The Five Alls.

My husband and I spent three nights at the Box Tree Cottage. Caroline is a charming host. Her home is beautifully appointed and our stay was exceptionally comfortable. The garden, the neighbourhood and all of her local recommendations were perfect. We especially appreciated the accommodation of our dietary restrictions. Breakfast was delicious each and every morning.

Wonderful location just outside Burford in the pretty village of Taynton. The accommodation was beautifully presented, very clean, with lots of thoughtful extra little touches. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of cereal, yoghurt and compote as well as a cooked option. Caroline was very helpful in suggesting things to do and places to eat.
