Visited in December while down in the Cotswolds for a few days.
We popped in for lunch and was very impressed by the food and service.

We often visit and stay in The Cotswold. This was the first time we decided to stay in Burford itself as a base. The staff were quite young and laid back (never quite sure who was in charge as staff seemed to change each day)...More

For guests arriving by car please note that all parking in Burford is FREE, a real benefit as the hotel does not have its own car park. Parking is permissible in the High Street and coming down the hill from the A40 parking on the left is untimed, whereas on the right, the side of the hotel, parking is limited to two hours between 8:30am and 6pm. If the town is extremely busy upon arrival you can pull up outside the hotel, which is double yellow lines, to unload passengers and luggage and our staff will advise you the best places for parking, either in one of the side streets or the town’s main car park. Later in the evening it is usual to be able to move cars nearer to the hotel if not directly opposite.
