We had a very nice couple of nights here. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and there was no unwanted noise. Our host, Ian, was very welcoming and cooked up a tasty breakfast in the morning. In the evening we ate round the corner at The Hare, which can also be recommended. Very happy with our stay here... We received a wonderful welcome from Ian on our arrival. The room was beautiful. Bright and clean, with lovely views across the park. Ian cooked a delicious fresh breakfast every morning and there was lots of choice, hot and cold, including warm croissants baked next door. Hillborough house was a great base for our 4 day break in the Cotswolds.... More

We enjoyed staying at this b&b for a few nights this past week - the owner Ian was very friendly and helpful during our stay ( I hope his dog is better after being in a recent dog fight and received some severe wounds) The home is a 15 min drive outside of burford and 30 min to Stratford and... It's a bit overdue so apologies for not writing sooner. We stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a friends wedding nearby and could not really say a bad word about this B&b. Clean, comfortable, very well presented and in a lovely location. And then we have to mention the staff. Fantastic! The main man, I want to say his... More

Of the six places we stayed during our family trip to England, this was my favorite. Things I loved: very friendly, engaging innkeepers; delicious breakfast; and the nice, quiet location in the small town of Milton-under-Wychwood. Things I didn't mind that some guests might: steep stairs to the upper floors (but this is common in most old Victorian homes that... More

What a wonderful family operated B&B, conveniently located right in the heart of the Cotswalds. Actually it is quietly hidden away in the little village of Milton-under-Wychwood, five miles north of Burford on the A361, and about six miles south of Chipping-Norton - Just perfect. Our hosts, Ian and his sister, welcomed us into their delightfully spacious old stone manor... More
