I have visited this pub a number of times and I have always been impressed by the food, but this pub if about far more than just the food. The pub is hiker friendly, you invariably see a few customers with their dogs, and the Mitford family pictures add atmosphere, oh, and the draft beer is good. And it's value...

We stayed for two nights at the Swan Inn and couldn't fault our experience. From the moment we booked Daniel and Anke did everything they could to ensure we were well looked after and we were made to feel very welcome. The location is stunning - a beautiful, quiet country setting. For a winter stay the cosy real fires in...

My dad was visiting from Middlesbrough and having been here once in the past thought I would take him to this little treasure. The staff are amazing and the food is even better!!! Definitely worth the drive! Can't recommend enough! Just wish I could have fitted in dessert!

Summary: Perfectly warm and cosy EXCEPTIONAL roast dinner And for me the perfect pub setting. A bit more: The Swan is a favourite of ours. We first stumbled across it after trouncing across cow-filled fields, walking by rivers and quaint West Oxfordshire countryside. A refuge from the rain and fresh winds, we entered the Swan Inn, which sits in a...

This is a lovely well run pub with comfortable rooms. Service is excellent, dinner showed off good cooking. It's a delightful spot and well situated for visiting Burford. We had the suite (Debo's room) which was very spacious - big bed, nice rolltop bath (no separate shower) and 2 TVs. Not sure why the dog policy is so limited when...

Lovely old pub extended to provide an excellent restaurant. Food was good. Hope to go again. We didn't stay overnight, just booked for dinner. Small Shame about photos of former PM on the wall but I'm not a fan of that PM;-(

You spend the day poking along back roads, around beautiful villages and the charming town of Burford. Back at the Swan, you peer out your window at horses grazing in the pasture nearby and listen to the sound of the Windrush River. You eat a scrumptious dinner in the centuries old dining room, then soak in the clawfooted tub before...

Well off the beaten track but well worth the excursion. Lovely dining pub. Very friendly staff with a good choice on the menu. Be careful to read both sides of the menu sheet. Some main courses are on the reverse.

Staying in Swinbrook, having a local pub just 10 minute walk away made lunch and evenings most enjoyable! The pub is a typical 'local' pub with welcoming staff at whatever time we called in. Visits with friends and family saw many pints of real Ale drunk and plenty of Wine and Cider at lunch- times. Evening meals were excellent, we...
