Hello I was pleased to read Zoey's review as we had been regulars at the Cotswold Gateway for years and we loved the food the decor and above all the staff. The previous management made this lovely place and it was so disappointing to find they had left and so had all the previous staff too (does anyone know where they moved on to?). Anyway, that said we did visit when the new team took over and although friendly it just didn't feel the same and although the usual Chef was still there, we were told he was leaving too. So disappointing as he did the best steak for miles. Anyway, the reviews on trip advisor began to get quite poor and so in afraid to say both we, and other regulars, have not been back since. I think now is the time to give the Cotswold a Gateway another try and I really hope we are not disappointed. Claire
