I stayed here as I was attending an evening meeting in the Village. Excellent car parking. The room was very comfortable; the desk had clearly been well used but so what? It did the job and free wi-fi enabled me to complete a number of tasks. Dinner & their Merlot at their Pub over the road was very good. There... More

This is probably a very good place for business travellers. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and several freebies were supplied in the room and minibar. However, it took ages for the hot water to run through and the central heating wasn't working. Breakfast was average. The owner is a very friendly lady and possibly has only taken over recently. She... More

Wonderful array of cakes and very friendly staff. A relaxing environment which we really enjoyed. I particularly enjoyed the carrot cake and my other half was delighted to be offered his chocolate brownie warm and with clotted cream. Will definitely return!

Stayed here to try something different from Northampton city centre chains. A bit disappointed as reviews had suggested charming small hotel but in fact it's a pretty basic B&B, with old fashioned fixtures, fittings & decor (eg no socket near bed, florals and pines). I also thought overpriced. The breakfast was excellent though & some nice touches, eg free chocolate... More

In a quiet village. Very comfortable and spotless room. As well as complimentary tea/coffee and toiletries there were free chocolate bars and cans of coke. Breakfast, included in our room rate, was very good and served by friendly staff. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Stayed one night. Spacious bedroom including a comfortable sofa, with good shower over bath. Really comfortable beds and pillows. Mini fridge with complementary chocolate bars, bottles of still and sparkling water and juice. Other free goodies include biscuits and Pringles. Good bar food in pub over the road owned by same people. Pleasant breakfast room and good cooked breakfast plus... More

This is a pleasant friendly hotel in a quiet village. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. We had a small problem that they had no record of our booking even though I had a paper copy of the conformation but fortunately they had room spare so all was well. I think my only gripe was... I visited the Roade House Hotel coffee shop/deli today for the first time. It is comfortably furnished in the bar, and the coffee shop/deli is charmingly appointed with painted furniture and attractive artwork and good displays of what is on offer to buy! We had excellent omelets, one cheese, one mushroom, and the cakes were to die for. They have... More
