I had booked this hotel as a base for a sightseeing weekend and I was very happy with the location. Easy walking distance of all the major attractions and car parking within the hotel. Comfortable rooms, reasonably priced it ticked all the boxes. Add to that two lovely receptionists, Gemma and Michelle and we will be back.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights in April 2015 and we were very pleased with the hotel. It`s situated about 3 min walk from the Minster, and the room was spacios if a bit dated. There was wall to wall carpeting all over the hotel, and there was a draft from the windows so the bathroom was...

Just back from 3 nights at the Minster Hotel. It was a good choice for us. We were given a room for 3 although we were a couple, but that gave us a bit more space. Bathroom was nice with plenty of fluffy towels. Not much in the way of amenities, just one small tube of shampoo and teeny bar...

We booked this hotel purely by chance and we were certainly not disappointed. The staff were excellent in this private boutique hotel - always a smile and so very helpful. It is only a bed and breakfast hotel but we all agreed that the breakfasts were first class. The rooms were well appointed and spotlessly clean with recently refurbished en-suits....

Stayed here again recently. This hotel is very close to the centre of York so very convenient for all things. It is a very good hotel, with off road parking and you get a great breakfast, although it could do with some more fresh fruit . There is also a small bar and the staff are very friendly (especially Stuart)...

The rooms are lovely, size is brilliant, bath with shower over. Good wardrobe and storage. Very warm and...
