This is the second time we've stayed here and it is clean, comfy and provides a delicious breakfast. Room 1 has stunning views of the River Ouse. It is handy for everything. We won't stay anywhere else.

First impressions weren't great. Kingsley came out and wanted to know why I was parking in his car park. When I advised him I was a guest checking in he then instructed me to correct my parking. A really bad start. Fortunately Jane seems to be the front of house specialist and she did a great job. She was warm...

Only found this place when trying to find an overnight car park when visiting friends. The room we had (4) was spotlessly clean and a perfect size with bath and over shower. Water hot all the time during our two night stay. The view was not of the River but the car park which was fine for us but may...

We arrived by train from London and walked with our luggage to the guest house in a very easy 10 minutes. There are a few short series of steps to climb to get on and off the foot bridge so keep that in mind. We were met by the friendly owners, Jane and Kingsley. Kingsley, by the way, cooks a...

Just returned from a weekend stay at Abbey Guest House. The room was immaculate and the views over the river were stunning. Breakfast was delicious traditional English breakfast and there was also a selection of cereals an yoghurts etc. Very close to city centre. Would definitely stay again

We are now planning our stay in 2017, everything about the guest house is...
