The room was clean and nicely decorated with a personal touch from the hosts, the location is great (quiet but 10 min walk to the Minster) and the hosts were very friendly and respectful of our privacy at the same time.

A good location within easy walking distance to the Minster (10-15mins) with that most prized of facilities private parking. Jane and Peter provide a warm welcome and a good quality room, the breakfasts have special recognition which after enjoying them We can see why.

Everything within walking distance, rooms very clean and comfortable. Peter and Jane were very good hosts, made sure everything ok. Breakfast lovely. Biscuits and cake in bedroom a nice touch and fresh milk a must have that was always in fridge on landing. Definitely go back again and would highly recommend it.

Just returned from a weekend stay at Feversham Lodge. Peter and Jane are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was African themed, which was fab and the bed was very comfy. Little extra touches such as a fridge with fresh milk and water outside our room; a good selection of toiletries and home made cake... More

First time stayed in a B & B, so pleased we chose Feversham Lodge as our first. Peter and Jane were so friendly (not in your face). The cleanliness of the lodge could not be faulted, and it was worth the visit just for the excellent choice for breakfast, well done Jane! As a previous traveller has stated a nice... More

The initial impression belies the delightful B and B this is. The themed room ( Venice) was spotless and well coordinated and provisioned. We got a four poster! Each day little homemade treats appear by the coffee. Yum. Fridge on landing for chilling wine and glasses is a nice touch. As you are asked to order breakfast in advance it... More

This B&B is at walking distance from the historical old town and offers free onside parking which is very convenient. Reception was very friendly. The room was small but nice and comfortable with a good bed and ok shower. Breakfast was good with a good selection of cooked breakfast. Good value for money and a good choice when visiting York.
