We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter period, and it was a wonderful stay. Jane and Peter are so warm and welcoming and Jane's omlettes are amazing! York city centre is a 10-15 min walk, which is ideal as you are close enough for all the attractions, but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle when winding...

We would like to thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are pleased you found the bed comfortable as we took a lot of time getting the right mattress. Glad the omelettes found favour but it's partly thanks to the lovely fresh farm eggs we get. Come again!

The guest house was excellent and Peter and Jane's hospitality was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and stylish with everything you could want for a two night stay. Fresh milk with drink making facilities in the room and homemade flapjacks were very thoughtful. The breakfast was lovely and the location was only ten minutes walk from the walled city.

We stayed for two nights. Peter and Jane were very welcoming and were helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Just a short walk of 10-15 minutes into the centre of York and with the added advantage of a car park. The breakfasts were really good and our room was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend Feversham Lodge if you...

Stayed for two nights in the feversham guest house and really enjoyed it. Couldn't say one bad thing about the place. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean and a very nice big comfy bed. The owners were friendly, talkative and wanted to get to know you and also made an effort to get to know your names. The breakfast...

We stayed at Feversham Lodge for a 3 night break to York. We stayed in the Victorian room which was very clean and comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities with fresh milk available from the communal fridge and flap jacks provided daily. The TV was a little small but adequate for catching up on the news after a day/evening out...

We stayed here with friends for a weekend break and had a lovely time. The owners welcomed us on arrival and explained everything fully (we didn't have to ask about anything during our stay!). The rooms we stayed in were themed (our room was African), really clean and well-presented. It had drink-making facilities and was very well-stocked. There was a...

I would say this is a good place for couples to stay of any age. Only a 10-15 minute walk into York. We were greeted with warmth and felt very welcome. The room was lovely, clean and more than big enough for the two of us. Comfortable bed. Everything was explained to us about the room which was a nice...
