We received a very friendly welcome from Peter and Jane. They gave us local information and a map on arrival, and exactly the right amount of attention during our stay without being intrusive. We stayed in the Victorian Room, which was spacious with an amazingly comfortable bed and a good, very clean en suite. Best of all were the cooked...

We have just returned from 3 nights staying at the Feversham Lodge which was very enjoyable. The room was very comfortable , clean and had everything we could need for 3 nights away. Homemade flapjacks left everyday were a nice little touch. It was a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked and tasty...

Stayed for just one night, but the room was a great size, spotless and nice and warm. Peter & Jane were great hosts, very attentive and nothing too much trouble. The accommodation is only a 10 minute walk into the centre of York, so close enough for convenience but far away for peace & quiet. Excellent breakfast, hot fresh food,...

I ordered a balloon for my partners birthday and Jane and Peter also provided a card and bottle of proseco. The bathroom did not have its own heating but soon warmed up and the...

We were warmly welcomed into the hotel on arrival, and Jane ran through the details of our stay. We were provided with a map of York and where we were was cleary marked out. We were shown to our room - which was delightful. Immaculately clean, very well decorated and a very well stocked refreshments tray. I'd asked for a...
