Location was great, 10 walk to centre. Free parking for up to 4 cars. The couple that run it where nice and helpful. The accommodation was fine we was on...

Thanks for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We just wanted to add two comments: we can accommodate 5 cars and also have permits for on-street parking if necessary. We note the point about the TV and can announce that at the beginning of June we are installing smart TVs in all rooms with DVD players, internet...

Had a lovely stay in York last weekend at Feversham Lodge. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, the breakfast was delicious, the room very clean and with the added bonus of private parking. A short 15 minute pleasant walk into York with all its attractions. Thank you Peter and Jane, Jill and Mark.

Comfort, cleanliness, good food and friendly hosts! The 10-15 minute walk in to the town centre is easy going, taxi's are readily available for the return at the end of a full day in York town centre if like us you had made the most of a short stay and had endeavoured to visit as much as possible. I would...

Well-kept Victorian town house with lots of nice touches, but above all, lovely hosts who seemed like old friends. Fairly short stroll into the city centre. Tip: Book direct through the B&B's own website and they'll give you a 10% discount.

A B&B par excellence. Well apportioned rooms, comfy beds, welcoming hosts and a cracking breakfast. What's not to like? Nothing, if you're looking for somewhere to stay in York then try the Lodge first. Peter and Jane make you welcome from the start. It's a short walk to the Minster, and an even shorter walk to the tour bus. So...

We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter period, and it was a wonderful stay. Jane and Peter are so warm and welcoming and Jane's omlettes are amazing! York city centre is a 10-15 min walk, which is ideal as you are close enough for all the attractions, but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle when winding...

We would like to thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are pleased you found the bed comfortable as we took a lot of time getting the right mattress. Glad the omelettes found favour but it's partly thanks to the lovely fresh farm eggs we get. Come again!

The guest house was excellent and Peter and Jane's hospitality was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and stylish with everything you could want for a two night stay. Fresh milk with drink making facilities in the room and homemade flapjacks were very thoughtful. The breakfast was lovely and the location was only ten minutes walk from the walled city.
