Just arrived at the ibis given a room that had white powder everywhere and a big crusty stain on the carpet like someone had been sick and it had just dried up! I ask to move rooms which was fine but we booked a double and ended up with a twin still white powder everywhere even got it on my...

Dear Guest Thank You for your valuable feedback, At ibis hotels we undertake an annual room dusting for the guaranteed prevention of bed bugs. This has just been carried out so there is residual dust coming from this. Please accept my apologies regarding this and I have spoken to the team who assure me they came to your room twice...

I had requested - if possible - for an accessible room due to my disability posing showering problems with a bath. To have received a wet-room bathroom I couldn't have been happier! Everything else with the hotel, was for me faultless. The new bed designs are truly fantastic! The hotel added to my first trip to York being very memorable!...

We had a great two night stay at the Ibis hotel. Friendly welcoming staff. Great room with refreshments and a comfy bed. It's about a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We will be returning and have booked again for October .

My friend and I get a twin bed as we always do whenever we go for a trip... The single bed is new, clean and just enough for you to lie down. If you roll over you'll be on the floor... Good space in washroom although I find the shower to weak... We had a good night and it's not...

This hotel is well located for walking into the city centre and has free car parking, although spaces are limited, especially at weekends. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bed was clean and comfortable. Our room was basic and the heating didn't work so we had to make use of the small fan heater that was provided, not...

Dear Guest Thank You so much for your review of ibis York Centre, The hotel refurbishment is entering the second phase now and we have replaced all the bedroom doors. We are renumbering the rooms to make moving around the hotel simpler hence the numbers not properly fixed as yet. I am really pleased you enjoyed our new sweet bed...

Was actually surprised by this hotel. Visited for a stag weekend and found the hotel to be well located and of a decent standard for a budget hotel. There was a wee bit of noise between rooms but overall this felt better than a budget hotel. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant and breakfast was good too!

The Ibis Hotel in York sits just beyond the castle walk and is extremely convenient for visits to the town centre. Parking is extremely limited and I strongly recommend that you arrive an hour or more before check-in for the best chance of securing one of the 20 spaces. Other than that, public parking here is very expensive. We were...

Dear Guest Thank You so much for your clear feedback following your recent stay at ibis York Centre. We are just rolling out the new ibis uniform so the staff presentation is changing daily. The hotel is very nice, staff are friendly and it's location is good being near the train station and town itself. The only downside we had was the shower curtain rail coming down and hitting you on the head when you showered. So then we had to shower with no curtain and the floor just got soaked! Also when you...

Dear Guest Thank You for your valuable feedback, I have shared this with the team as to rectify the problem.
