We stayed here for 2 nights. This is a really lovely guesthouse which ticks all the boxes if you're looking for somewhere very reasonably priced near to York centre. Upon arrival we were greeted by the landlord who was very personable, welcoming and helpful. Our room G2 was very clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything we might need...

The Crescent Guest house was a nice and cozy place to stay. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I did not encounter any major problems and would definitely stay here again. One concern that I had was that the radiator was cold, even while on the max setting. The host however provided my room with a...

We booked late for a spontaneous night in York. Cheap and 5 mins walk from York Minster. Whole building desperately needs a facelift - chipped paint and tired furniture. Our room was up several flights of stairs in the attic! We could only stand upright in less than half of the room and had to take care when getting in...

Nice guest house. Friendly staff. Good breakfast to set you up for the day. Although on the main road, we weren't too bothered by the sound of traffic. It is in an excellent spot to park up for the period of your stay, as it is barely 5 minutes walk from the Minster. We are more than happy to come...

The staff were really nice here and it was clean. However, I got woken up at about 6.30am every morning we were here as the fan of next door's bathroom was really loud through our wall. I could easily hear the doors being slammed also. The bed was also a little small.
