My wife and I stayed in the Jade Attic room. Absolutely lovely! The room has a large, spotless bathroom and tons of character with original exposed beams (I assume some of them are old ships' masts). The bed is great. We slept extremely well indeed on what is obviously a very good quality mattress. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This B and B is attached to a very nice cafe/ bistro which provided a great good quality breakfast, veggies well provided for. It is in the old town, and quiet at night but near restaurants, quirky shops and only a few minutes from the harbour. I only have one note of caution, we had a room - the Jade...

What lovely people at Sanders Yard. They were so helpful after we were let down by the b&b we booked. Fantastic welcoming cottage. But the best bit was the staff and yummy breakfast. The porridge was AMAZING.

My husband and I stayed in room 1 which is described as a premium double en suite with a new sleigh bed. The bed was spoiled by the lumpy pillows that were void of any fullness, but the bed itself was very comfortable. Please consider replacing the pillows. The large deep bath was fabulous along with the very powerful shower/mixer...

Always a good place to visit when visiting Whitby. The cafe is quaint with a cosy feel. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. The food is,always well presented and very fresh ingredients. A good choice of cakes and desserts. A huge plus for this place is that dogs are allowed in one area, great if it is too cold...

We stayed for one night in December and would most definitely return. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent room (much larger than we expected) a fabulous bath tub and excellent breakfast too. A great visit to whiby as ever and Sanders Yard made it very memorable.

We always like this place as a great coffee and cake stop, really comfortable and friendly, but new in, a 3 piece folk band evening with a simple (but good) dinner course for a tenner. What an enjoyable evening. An experiment I gather, which was really successful. It's a great place to go and coffee/cake or have a light meal,...

Stayed here, for the 2nd time & found it to be just as perfect as last year! A la carte breakfast, couldn't be better, from full English with malted toast & consistently perfect fried eggs to porridge served with a pot of syrup & a pot of cream! Everything looks great, tastes great & arrives piping hot at your table....

This beautiful, characterful bed and breakfast is more than just a standard b & b. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The location couldn't be in a better place right in the centre of the old town with its historic alleys and streets. The accomodation has a popular cafe and restaurant that...

I've just spent two nights at this lovely B&B in the 'old town' area of Whitby. Great location for the Harbour, Abbey and pubs etc. Good sized and well furnished room. Friendly staff and the best 'Full English'. Will definitely return.
