welcoming, as always, busy, as it was Easter, but never too busy to keep us happy, sociable, entertainment spot on,and that's just the landlord, who loves to jump on the mic and do a few songs, but the bands were very good, room. Lean and tidy as ever, would we return ,of course, four times here now, recommended to friends who...

Stayed just one night, four friends together with 2 dogs. Lovely, cosy little cottage behind the pub , not much of a view but who cares for the price! Clean, comfy and well equipped, right down to ice in the freezer. Great bar food, really good breakfast with fresh fruit too! Friendly people and a lovely atmosphere and welcoming to...

Myself, my partner and our two year old son stayed at The Pier for three nights, and had a very enjoyable stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by friendly staff who continually conversed with us throughout our stay and made us feel really welcome. We had booked through booking.com and were expecting the family room (as we prefer our...

We recently stay at The Pier Inn in Whitby. The location was great and the free permit car parking was ideal. We stayed in the attic room which we found clean and comfortable. The rest of the pub area was dirty. We found the staff unfriendly and non communicative with the exception of Jake. When we checked out, the manager?...

Stayed for 2 nights. Basic pub accommodation. Don't expect 4 stars but good if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower and get a basic breakfast in the morning. Excellent central location to explore Whitby. They provide you with a free parking permit which saves a lot in parking fees. If you go to bed relatively early on a...

This traditional pub and restaurant is just 4 minutes' walk from the town centre, less than 2 miles from the North York Moors. Rooms at The Pier Inn have a flat-screen TV, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. All have en suite facilities with a shower. A full English breakfast is served each morning. Food is served in the pub at lunchtimes and in the evening. This inn is around 13 minutes' drive from the pretty fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay.
