This guest house is fantastic. My husband and I have stayed here three times now and have never been disappointed. This is a beautiful house, situated close to the town and all its amenities. We've just come back from staying in the white linen B&B. we stayed in the Georgian room. The room is beautiful and spacious over looking the garden. With a good size bathroom, lots of hot water for relaxing hot bath after a day out in Whitby. Breakfast was amazing and Richard was a wonderful host. If I had to find... More

We stayed 2 nights in the value bunk up room which, as the name suggests, offers a bunk bed with an en suite shower room, toilet and cupboard. Considering the low price (£45 per night without breakfast) for a last minute trip we were expecting the worst but received a pleasant surprise. Yes, the room is very small but overlooks... More

A great guest house in a good central location, run by attentive proprietors. Comfortable and clean rooms along with clean and well kept bathrooms. Finished off by a great breakfast (with a good choice - you don't have to go for the usual full english!). Parking would have been nice - but accomodation with parking in whitby is hard to... More

After a slight hiccup over the booking (we booked online for 2 nights in the Tudor room, only to have Richard phone the next day to say that the room was only available for 1 night but we could have the bunk up room for the second night) there was absolutely nothing we could find fault with. On arrival Heidi... More

we stayed one night on our bicycle trip (part of the "North Sea Cycling Route"). We got a warm welcome by Richard on a rainy afternoon. The room was absolutely marvelous and well equipped; Bicycles can safely be stored in the backyard.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at White Linen and our best experience so far. Our room was very clean and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was freshly cooked using local ingredients and was very tasty.
