Again we cannot rate our stay at Abbotsleigh high enough. Thanks to Sharon and Paul for sharing their lovely home and hospitality with us.. It's worth stopping at Abbotsleigh if only to sample Pauls wonderful homemade preserves! See you next Valentines weekend xx

Booked a weekend to celebrate our daughters special birthday, a very friendly welcome with tea and yummy home made cakes on arrival. Booked two rooms giving our daughter the most spacious but both rooms were individually furnished and were very warm & comfy and made special with the extra added touches Sharon and Paul provide. An outstanding hot breakfast and...

Over the years, we've stayed in many hotels and B&B's. With only a few exceptions, they've all been good but what makes one great is the attention to detail and the passion and love of the owners for what they do. This is where Abbotsleigh is unsurpassed. The building itself is beautiful; from the blacksmith designed gate, original glass and...

We visited Abbotsleigh at the end of October for 2 nights. Our room was the ammonite on the front of the building, it was a lovely spacious room, spotlessly clean with a wet room to die for. There are home made cakes available in the afternoon and homemade biscuits in the room. There is plenty to choose from for breakfast...

We have just enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at the Abbotsleigh of Whitby. We stayed in the Ammonite room and our friends stayed in the Sea Biscuit. From the moment we arrived Paul and Sharon were fantastic hosts. Rooms are a good size, spotlessly clean and have everything you need. The beds are soooo comfy. The choice and quality...
