We found Crescent Lodge quite by accident. We had booked 2 nights at The Grove, Whitby, but when we arrived we were told they had double-booked and there wasn't a room for us - in spite of making our booking a month before arrival. Thankfully, the owner of The Grove sent us to George and Carol at Crescent Lodge where...

George and Carol made us very welcome and I endorse all the excellent reviews given. Very convenient and off-road parking a great boon in the Westcliff area. Lovely places to visit near by, including our favourites Robin Hood's Bay and Heartbeat country, and of course the fish and chips are the best in England! The characterful shops on the way...

We stayed here for a 2 night stay in July. We were in room 9, which was well furnished, clean and tidy. The room consisted of a double and single bed, full tea/coffee facilities, en-suite bathroom and tv, more than adequate. Our hosts, Carol and George were always on hand if we needed anything. Adequate off road parking directly outside...

Good old fashioned hospitality. George and carol are perfect host. Greeted at door, offered to carry bags to room. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast more than enough to keep you going all day. Only gripe low pressure on shower room 3 otherwise wold have been 5 star. Recommend to stay here for a pleasurable holiday.

Had a lovely stay, the room was comfortable and place is immaculately clean. The breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were great, very attentive. Not far from the centre of town, just a short stroll. We are looking forward to going back soon.
