A hotel full of character. Very large rooms, comfortable, clean and relaxing. Good friendly staff who are very helpful. Very good food and little extras which make a stay memorable. A very quiet area and not far from Whitby or the coast.

We were on the top floor with no lifts, the room was vile. There are ground floor rooms, but we had an ancient bath, not a walk in shower. Not sure how accessible any rooms are, there are stairs to the entrance too.
